learn to read and speak Hebrew

My older son became a bar mitzvah last year. I admired his ability to master such a complex skill so well in such a short time. I also envied the opportunity to study the language and the scripture. My younger son is now beginning Hebrew studies and we are taking classes together. I am excited but nervous. Already the material is challenging and I am hopeful that I can keep up.

Not only is it gorgeous, but it means so much to me now that I’ve discovered the Hebrew roots to my faith in a big way. I want to be able to understand the Scripture in its original language!
