How I did it: First I should tell you about the hockey player. He plays in the "Q"he's 20 so this is his last year, we've been dating for a year. Im now 18. I used to cheer competitively on a team called Maine Event and he played for the Lewiston Maineiacs. I sell 50/50 at the Collisee (the rink) to make a little extra cash through the all star gym and the way he puts it, I was selling 50/50 and he saw me smile and told me I stole his heart from there =) we talked online for about 3 weeks before ever meeting and then he came back from a road trip from St. John NB and we hung out that night, Nov.11 and we've been together ever since and we're now engaged. It was never about the money or stature. It was simply because he makes me the happiest I've ever been. Well and he has a GREEEEAT body!! Lessons & tips: Tips I can provide: Don't date a hockey player if your in it for just arm candy. Yes they're rough and tough but they have a soft side too and don't like to get their heart broken. |

Just because “to date a hockey player” is on my list, doesn’t make me a puckbunny or like what my title says ; a superficial materialistic slut.
I’m not in it for the money or how “horny” they can be or that other girls will be jealous. Part of this is just an inside joke because I love hockey and the other part is true, because I’m a girl and well I won’t deny but hockey players have this certain attractiveness to them.
Of course, I just want a boyfriend, any will do but a hockey player is definetly a bonus. It’s just the fact that he plays hockey is a simple bonus.

Great friends and awesome to hang out with. In shape, positive attitudes make for great times and awesome companions.
however.
Not always good for serious girlfriends since majority of women players have sexuality / gender issues. They are usually great in bed! And I don’t think that’s just because they are athletic. It’s a compromise. Dealing with the sexual history/issues vs. having a good time.

he was a skater hockey player n i live in england so it int a major sport but he played for the UK team and travelled around europe playing. but anyway, was good, he was lovely but it didnt last.

I watch the sport, I breathe it, I play it, and it’d be crazy to think I don’t think more highly of guys that play it. Most of the players I’ve encountered were quite slutty, but I guess it wasn’t exactly the most conducive environment. Although some players are attractive despite that environment.

When my husband and I first met in high school, he was a goalie, and I was a blueliner. Now that we’re expecting, I cannot play- but he is getting better and better all the time.
