the place: barnes & noble in towson
the time: approximately 7:40 – 7:55 p.m.
the plan: write down four favorite quotes. leave in some favorite books. exit.
rate of success: 4/4
summary: I had to go to the mall to see about getting my mac fixed, so I stopped at the B&N on my way home. Figured it was the most perfect opportunity for… you know…
quote 1:

quote 3:

quote 4:

bonus: left my too-hot latte on a shelf somewhere in there. d’oh!

1) trying to support local stores, so chances of me ending up in a big-box bookstore (i.e. borders or barnes & noble) are slim
solution: not buy anything at big-box store. walk 2 blocks to the local store and drop a bundle.
2) i no longer live nor work near one, so the chances I will end up there, just killin’ time, is unlikely.
solution: go to one on my day off, rather than just dicking around the apartment.
3) i’m afraid to leave it in any book i wouldn’t buy, in case i got caught (extremely paranoid, so even if this isn’t even a possibility, i will still be paranoid about getting caught)
solution: leave said notes on my trademark 3×5 cards and hope they’ll use my note as a bookmark. (plus i think it’s tough to get arrested for leaving loose book notes as opposed to defacing them.)
am i forgetting any obstacles?
