I have these memories of being oh, 13 or 14, a teenybopper to be sure, listening to these bands. I remember particularly being sick once, listening to something like Dirty White Boy or some such and reading John Saul while laying on the sofa. Odd huh?
Love both of these bands. Tommy Shaw is STILL with Styx, in fact he’s the superstar of them. Lawrence Gowan, the guy on the keyboard, still wears his ultra tight black pants and has that keyboard that spins around. Lights, smoke, ACTION! To be sure, a good concert. I knew all the words! (and yes, you can imagine, I DO sing along!)

I am watching Bryan Adams in concert. He apparently has a new album. I have seen him, I think with Def Lepard, maybe at Nissan Pavillion. He did a great job, really enjoyed the energy, a nice mix of old and new music. I’d see him again in a heartbeat!

that I have always WANTED to attend concerts of bands I love. I was just never able to afford them. So, now I am old enough to figure out how to procure tickets and subsequently afford them, I attend a few concerts each year. With that knowledge in mind, I have a list of TOP BANDS I have always wanted to see. that’s how we’ll start my list.
Journey-my all time favorite band.. saw them in October ‘07 for the first time, however it wasn’t an engagment that included Steve Perry i was however thrilled. Subsequently i have seen them on two other occasions.
Def leppard- Oh what a fantastic concert! These guys have energy and power, they put on a wonderful show! They sung all the favorite songs. Crowds are very responsive to them. Also have seen them on a total of 3 occasions.
Aerosmith- Very dissapointed with this. It is my theory to go to a concert to hear songs i already know, however at this concert they sang 70% new music and 30% old favorites. I didn’t spend 125 a pop, to hear new music, i wanted to hear the old favorites. Won’t pay to see them again, sadly. Very dissapointing.
Heart- Spectacular, engergetic, just what you wanted to hear, very crowd involving. Just awesome. Would highly recommend seeing them.
Trick- There is reason why they’re an opening band, not a very enjoyable concert. Didn’t really recognize their songs. Wouldn’t see them as a opening band.
Eagles- inFREAKINGcredible concert, best concert i’ve ever been too. Amazing! loved loved loved it! All orignial members, except Greg Allman. Even enjoyed their new songs! Even enjoyed them in the nosebleed section! Would pay a great deal of money to see them with better seats
We currently have tickets to The Who in november. Additionally we have tickets to see The Steve Miller Band.
