How to go to montreal by Poptart31A

"I had to get away. So many bad things were happening to me back at Home.. So i jumped on the Amtrack train from Penn Station straight to Montreal( round trip ticket cost $124).. 10hours Later.. Im in Beautiful Montreal."

How I did it: Took the Train. Amtrack has a train that goes straight to MOntreal From New York. Bring your passport and wear comfy clothes its a long ride. The ride is beautiful.. You might want to take pictures. There is a snack car. I stayed at a cozy B&B called ChezFanny in the Latin Quater ( www.Chezfanny.ca) its so close to everything. I walked everywhere. But you can Rent a Bike. Everything is Super close so dont worry about not being able to see everything. Take at least a week to do everything.

Lessons & tips: Try not to follow the tourist map to much. Have a good idea of the areas that you want to go to and just remember the landmarks that you want to see.  The city is beautiful. And there is something on every block. You really dont have to speak French everyone is polite and friendly.

    with Montreal.

    I love it here so much, everything is perfect and brings out the very best in me. I’m so thankful I got the opportunity to live here for a month to experience this amazing, vibrant city. The lifestyle here is everything that I want. I can’t wait to move here someday, I adore it here. Love. Love. Loveeeeeee it here.

    I bought my ticket! I’m going to be going to Montreal for the summer. I hope to learn French fluently while i’m there too. I can’t wait, i’ve heard so many good things about Montreal, everyone that has been there pretty much tells me its amazing. I am especially excited about being on my own for once. It will be nice to have my own apartment and nice to do whatever I want without having to explain myself to anybody. A change of people won’t hurt either. At this point I don’t really see myself missing anybody from home. I need a change from my current life so this is perfect!

    i see the men and thier fancy clothes and the societies and the networks and the frienships and the history and i just think about how amazing it would be to go there.

    If you love the big city, it’s so worth it. Had a great time, great food and great people. Everyone spoke French and English, which was amazing. Mont Royal Parc was also beautiful.
