How to go to a nude beach

How I did it: I moved to the San Francisco Bay area, and a week or two after my arrival I say a big articcle on the front page of one of the free weekly papers. There was someone's sandy backside, with the header "best nude beaches." They even had directions. The hard part was standing there, knowing that there were people sort of watching, and actually getting naked. Lessons & tips: Go with a friend. It's safer. Resources: SF Bay Guardian.

the first time i went was wierd I knew i had the idea to go. Did the research and went to Black’s beach in San diego. Took me 3x visiting the beach to get used to the idea of stripping naked. by the third time when i was with my g/f she went topless and i just went naked. after that i must of made it a weekly thing. its addicting to go and be at peace with everyone walking by and no issues or concerns.

I just read about a nude beach in San Fran: Baker Beach. San Fran is a little breezy to go nude…but I’ll try anything once.
I went to the Alexandria Bay olympics in February 1991 with two guys Brett and David, who were friends of the guy who ran the Sunrays swim nights where I first got into nudism.
It was an awesome experience to swim in the ocean nude amongst hundreds of happy nude partygoers. I took part in a few events, chatted to a very charming and beautiful young lady who was a psychology student but never saw her again after that.
If anybody is contemplating going to a nude beach, it is definitely worth giving a go not once but for the rest of your life. The feeling of more mobility whilst swimming in the sea or playing sports with your friends or family will ensure that you’ll never ever want to buy another swimsuit in your life.
Now I wish that all beaches could either be strictly nude only, or at least clothing optional like most of them are in Europe. The nudist movement is a multi-billion dollar industry over there with accommodation ranging from little villas to full scale luxury apartments, and everybody from toddlers, teens, and multi-generational families enjoying the sun the day they were born.

As it turned out, once there it was relatively easy to adjust to being nude. In fact, within minutes, any self-consciousness was gone. Without the clothes, taking a dip in the Pacific Ocean was more comfortable, and it was easier to get dry.
Advice: go with a friend, and make sure to bring plenty of sunblock. Also, don’t expect fellow beach goers to look like supermodels – nudists tend to be a very unselfconsciously ordinary lot, which I find refreshing in its own right.

I did it in Mykonos, Greece. Never been this relaxed at a beach. Totally love it. Just wish the tourists were not pointing their cameras around.
