This is a great idea – I often make good goals that I forget about weeks later.

It’s February 1st,and time to re-evaluate my goals. I’ve decided to give up on a couple of goals: “Be able to do 100 sit-ups, and meet at least 3 new people every week”. I haven’t taken any action on either of these specifically in the last 6 months, so they are definitely not priorities right now. Maybe I’ll put them back on later if they become more important to me.
I’m moving closer on a couple of goals: “see a Broadway show in NYC, and attend a NCAA Final Four Weekend”. I hope to have both of these completed by early April!! I’ll be picking out my February dog from Best Friends later this afternoon. There are a couple of others that I am considering giving up on for now, but I’ll leave them on for at least another month to see if I can spark any interest.

I decided to add this one as a 43rd goal. If I do this on the first of every month, it will keep my important goals in the forefront and allow me to realize that if I haven’t taken any action on a goal in the past 30 days, then maybe it shouldn’t be on the list. By prioritizing them in order of importance to me for the month, I can emphasize my actions on the ones that need it the most. This month, I am taking “Have Lasik eye surgery” off of the list. Rather than be a life goal, I think it would be better served just to be on a “to do” list.
