My new job will be a lot further from the center, and it doesn’t make sense to attempt this until I move back in town.

...there’s a great way to do this. There’s a program based in Atlanta called GARRS, Georgia Radio Reading Service, and their readers are entirely volunteer. I’ve done this before when my schedule allowed it and I loved doing it. It’s an awesome volunteer activity. Check them out at: http://galinks.com/garrs/garrs.html (It doesn’t look like the site has been updated in a while but there are contact numbers to call for information on volunteering.)
I loved volunteering for them before and would like to again someday.

nice idea, but I don’t have any immediate plans nor any indication of how to do this…
so, for the time being, I’m taking this off my list.

Silly Drowa asks,
“I'm interested in this, but how does one go about this? Do you have an address to contact? Is there a program looking for volunteer readers?”
