I really want to learn Swedish! i’ve always loved the sound of different languages and i want to learn to speak like 6! i thought considering im such a big ABBA fan i’d start at Sweish :) here’s hoping i can do it :)

Hi.I realy would like to learn how to speak Swedesh very good.

It would be really useful to be able to use the language. Also, it’s kind of pathetic how many years I’ve spent studying Swedish without actually learning to speak it. I like the sound of the language, it’s just that I’ve been lazy.

I can understand swedish when spoken to and read swedish but cant yet speak it, I am studying swedish at college.I really want to speak the language.

I was lucky enough to finally visit my soulmate sister, who is Swedish and lives in Skane. We have adopted each other as penpals, so meeting in person was like meeting a celebrity. She and her husband welcomed me into their home for a week, showed me all around their village, took me to places that the typical tourist would never see. I met her friends, her children’s friends and even was able to teach her 10 year old daughter enough English to tell me an entire joke by the end of the week (Swedish kids begin proper english lessons around age 10 at school). Everyone was so kind and helpful, I loved Sweden and would love to go back! But next time, I’d like to be able to understand what everyone is saying when they don’t think I know-LOL!
