find a new hairdresser

Hi! I am new to the Jacksonville FL area and must have something done to this hair. I am almost desperate enough to try “home hair color”-UGH! Please help!

I ended up getting a job in a nearby town shortly after my son’s wedding. Later that winter, I found out a young lady I was acquainted with from my son’s school started her own salon—only a block from my new job!

I got together a few pictures recently to show her, ‘cause I was ready for a totally new ‘do. She knows me and my hair well enough to know which styles would work for me, and which would be too much work (I don’t want to spend a half hour in front of the mirror in the morning, my coffee is too important to me!).

In short, I got a new ‘do that I can do a couple of different ways, and I’m totally pleased with my new hairdresser!

I found a new hairdresser today! She was so good- I was going to have my roots done, but then I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I wanted a different color. She was very patient and went through all the different options. I’m now very pleased with the result!

had a long talk today and she ended up cutting my hair exactly the way I wanted her to cut it. I am so happy with it. So I’m going to give this one up. I guess I just needed to be more vocal with what I wanted.

but do have the name of a new hairdresser to try out. One step closer to completing this one.

hairdresser. The one I have been seeing for years doesn’t seem to like to cut short hair. In April I had her cut my long hair short but she did not cut it as short as I wanted it.

In order to style my long hair it would take over an hour blow drying that then using a flat iron on very thick and wavy hair.

This is how my hair looks now and I am still not happy with it. This was taken about 2 weeks after my last haircut. Still too long and not wash and go hair that I want. I told her wash and go hair. Ugh…

Now my next appointment is at the end of August. I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold out that long.

I am from Lake Mary Florida and I found Cheryl on www.Hair-411.com a new way to search for a salon or hairdresser. I am extremely happy because I got to find out everything about her before I even walked into the salon.

I got a tip from friends that a Sally at the salon across town is the best. So…I made an appointment with her to have my hair done for my son’s wedding. My “regular” hairdresser (if you can call it regular when I only go 1-2 times a year) had surgery earlier in the week and wasn’t back to work yet.
