This goal has really forced me to think more about what I start, and put a lot more effort into the things I actually choose to do.

This week I finished two books that I’ve been taking a long time to read, mended a bunch of clothing and my knitting projects are slowly coming under control.
I’ve had some time off lately and I’m gradually working towards reaching a lot of projects that have been sitting around for a long time. It feels good. I’m going to keep this goal on my list for a little while longer, until I finish some more things.
a scarf, and sewing a button back onto a jacket.
Started working on an assignment for school (a week before I normally would have). Yay me.
and started a brand new scarf, which I didn’t finish. I’m not getting all that far with this…
Finished: a novel
Started: knitting a sweater
1:1
Though to be fair, the sweater is one that I’ve wanted to start for a very long time, but only managed to get the right needles for really recently. So the intent to start it was long before this goal…
I’m halfway through at least six books, cleaning my bathroom, lists of errands and countless crafts and projects. My life is a huge to do list and it’s starting to drive me nuts. I get to the point where I start things without actually intending to see them through. That’s got to stop.
I’ve got various art/craft projects all over my studio, a pile of books to read that will soon lift the bed off the ground, and who knows what else that I’ll find as I dig through my stacks.
I’ve made a promise to myself to not trade for one more book until I’ve read at least 5 of the ones I’ve started, or buy anymore art/craft supplies until I’ve finished 5 of those in their project boxes. I can do this!
