plant a fig tree

This summer the fig tree grew a bit and is now taller than me. Next summer I won’t plant anything around it, so it can have all the sun. Let’s hope for delicious fruit in a year and a half (it ususally takes total of around 3 years).

figs are amazingly gorgeous. i only recently discovered them and have been enjoying them for days! i recommend a fig smoothie for a super delicious breakfast!

so in my dream garden i would like to plant a fig tree, as they are the most sensual and delicious fruit i have ever tasted.

After the fig we bought last fall froze,we just got a second one. It’s still in a pot, but after hubby buys some sand and mixes it in the back yard for proper drainage he’ll plant it. Hey, the hole is already there :)
