I want to have the Shakespeare quote from Hamlet Act 1 Scene 3 tattooed on my foot which says “To thine own self be true”. I want to have it done on the outside of my right foot, just under my ankle. Any comments and suggestions? How much will I be suffering from the pain??? :\

How I did it: Would NOT recommend doing it spontaneously! While I do like my tattoo, it is rather big for my foot and I wish I would've gotten something a little smaller. Also, it DOES hurt. Maybe only a little bit, but it DOES hurt and anyone that tells you it doesn't it only trying to be tough. Read how I did it…

Yesterday, I got a tattoo of some flowers on my foot. It hurt, but once I got used to the pain I could deal with it. One of the flowers is on a vein that runs up my leg. The vein hurt for a while and it is still hurting, what is that. The area was red and somewhat swollen, the swelling has gone down.
I am glad that I did this because I have wanted one for a long time. I have 2 other tattoos, but I got those over 13 years ago. This was soemthing new for me.

I have been wanting a tattoo on my left foot for a while now. I went and got a band of flowers. Honestly, it hurt and the top of my foot is swollen. Eventhough there is pain involved I am glad that I got it done. I will see how my foot feels in the morning.

Definatly worth it, not the most painful place i’ve been tattooed either. I had six stars on my left foot.
I got a tattoo on my foot and ankle this weekend and absolutely love it!! The top of the foot hurt the worst. But it was so worth it.
So for my 18th birthday I decided to give myself a present.
I went with my boyfriend & I got a tattoo on my foot of two orchids.
I thought it would be a good idea for my first tattoo because it wouldn’t be saggy & wrinkled when I get older. Plus, I absolutely love orchids. I’ve had it for about five months now. It’s faded a little but it’s faded to where it looks like it’s been drawn on by pencil. I love it. People come up to me everyday and ask me if it’s real. It’s so detailed that it looks drawn on. April did an awesome job.
I’ve gotten another one since then and I’m hoping to get tattoo number three quite soon..
:)
