open a community center

i would love to do this i just really have no clue on ho w to get started

i want to open several community centers. I have started my research on how to begin. I am starting with a solid business plan. I have began looking into land in the target areas that i feel a community center is needed. My next steps is to begin fundraising.

I have had this idea or dream for awhile now. It feels that the time is now. Right now I am trying to figure how to begin. Anyone have any thoughts on where to start the process?

I am 22yrs old and i am deeply interested in openeing a community center sometime in the near future. I understand there will be alot of the work, effort and money needed to go into this goal of mine. I am willin to take the first step. I am still in college at this time so im trying to get a head start and at least show that i am serious about this. I believe that our society is going through alot and the children are suffering. I want so badly to help them be able to be more confindent as they get older and understand that there are people who are genuinely working for and with them.I was hoping that there would be people who can direct me in the proper way or advise me of the best possible form of action that i should be taking so earlier in the development stage of my goal.

this finally seems to actually be moving. we now have a lawyer and a business plan, a signed sales agreement for a building and have filed for incorporation. and, we’ve talked to a local organization that we might be able to partner with if they want to—we could give them a better location for cheaper than what we’re paying now, and that would cover all our remaining operating expenses that aren’t already accounted for.

our proposal for the first building was rejected, but today we reached a verbal sales agreement for another one that is actually even better for our purposes! hopefully this can be formalized soon so we can move on to the next stages.

things are moving ahead at a slow but existent crawl. we’ve put a lot of work into the proposal, writing up a mission statement and drawing construction plans. hopefully we’ll get the last estimates that we need tomorrow and finally be able to submit this thing. and then the waiting really starts.

we’re going to put in a proposal to buy the building. in order to do that, we have to get estimates from all kinds of contractors. we’ve begun to schedule appointments…

we just looked at a building that might do very well for a community center…looking into it further, with crossed fingers.
