How to swim with the dolphins

How I did it: Since I live in Hawaii and the beach is right down the street it was pretty easy for me to accomplish this goal. I got a body board and a friend.
Then swam out into the bay in the early morning, maybe around 530 - 6. Then waited for THEM to COME up to me.
As they got used to our presence we were able to swim with them and touch them. We stayed in the water for maybe..an hour and a half.
Fun memory.
Lessons & tips: Don't harass the dolphins, let them come up to you.

I would prefer to do this out in an ocean with wild dolphins rather than have to go to a building of some kind and pay to do it. I’m sure either way it is amazing, but I think I would like a more natural setting :)

They are what iam…very similar to my personality…i truely adore and love them and would want to swim with them atleast once before i die…
Need to take a vacation this year!

I just started looking into vacation spots where swimming with a dolphin is possible. I think a cruise might be my best chance of getting this goal accomplished.

I did this at Sea Life Park in Oahu, Hawaii. We got to spend 45 minutes in the water with the dolphins, learning about them and watching them play. We got to kiss them, cradle them, and dance with them. Then we did a dorsal fin ride and a toe push (where they push you out of the water by your feet with their nose). We also got to swim with a Wolphin (a whale and a dolphin). It was a fabulous experience!

i am going to queensand next week and want to swim with the dolphins Im not a selfish person but im tking my kids with me but I cant afford for all of us to do it. But this my be my only chance, so Im going to do it.

It was through Marine World Six Flags. You don’t actually swim but you do get to get in the water and play with them. As much as I want to FREESWIM with them this was the next best thing.

This is something that I have truely wanted to do for a very long time. Doesn’t take a lot of effort. All I would need to do is drive to San Antonio and there is a place there, but, you know, such is life. I will do this.
