In the process of doing this! 12 months ago

Finished School 3 years ago

Well, I’ve finished school. I’m officially a college graduate! But I knew this was going to happen…Now what?

I can either get a job in Communications or I can go to MORE school for my masters in counseling. Which is what I REALLY want to do. Maybe I can do both!

Either way I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!

It’s an ongoing process. I’d like to see what else I can do with my teaching degree.

Read the entire Bible 4 years ago

I have studied world religions and theology for many years. Formal and informal. Part of my training at the institute of divine metaphysical research was reading the bible from front to finish. However, one can not only read the bible from front to finish without an earnestly trying to ‘understand’ the bible AND like it or not, one can not understand the bible without studying varying culture, society and history of the peoples of the particular place and times the bible was being written.

What was the purpose? Why does the Christian God Yahweh Elohim seem so mean and unforgiving in the first part of the bible--only to soften up later on—to finally doing away with him mostly and relying on the so called savior Jesus Christ? What attributed to these writings ASIDE from “Divine Inspiration”? What affected these changes? What was the society like? What was the social pressure, attitudes about certain things like women’s mysteries (menstruation, childbirth) and why?

If people are satisfied that it was written purely by Divine Inspiration and that society had no impact whatsoever, then WHY bother to read the entire bible, especially without a willingness to learn and understand? It’s ok to be ingnorant because being ignorant is being ‘without knowledge’ and we are all ignorant on many things , however, ingnorance stops when there is a refusal to open up and ‘learn’ and accept the things that one thought they could not and/or should not that is pertinent to full comprehension of things we once thought could not be understood and STUPIDITY begins.

But hey, that’s just my opinion. Take from it what you will and leave what you want behind for someone else.

This is my year off 4 years ago

I’m taking a year off to get my head back on straight after some problems in my personal life. During this time off.. I need to decide what my career will be. I’ve finished up to my junior year of college and am just now thinking about changing my major to something else. I pray that if I change it this once, it will be the only time I will need to. I pray that I end up choosing the right major for me, so I will be satisfied in whatever the career is that I end up choosing. I’m also not sure what school I will be going back to… so many decisions.

Anyway my degree will be in Nuclear Medicine, i will be a technician at a hospital doing radiation therapy as well as diagnosis.

When is it ever going to stop!!! 4 years ago

I have been to school all my life and I’m fed up. I want to start with my career as soon as possible. Let’s see here, hmmmm; three to four more years left until I get my Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering. It’s taking forever and to make matters worse, I have to do the masters program after that. This is making me impatient and I just want to start doing the real thing you know? But I’ll finish school nevertheless, in one piece. Pray for me. It would be good going to work knowing that you always don’t have to sit in a chair and be lectured at.
