move to a tropical island

Really am starting to consider an island life is for me.

I want to move to a tropical island but the thought of doing so is so overwhelming it makes me nauseas. I have no idea where to begin..

Bought a one-way ticket to Hawaii yesterday!!! It’s on! I leave in 5 weeks.

try watching the new movie with leonardo deCaprio in it called The Beach! exactly what i want to do!!

for the summer after college

Right after I graduated high school I signed up for a summer in St. John with my best friend and ended up staying a year. I snorkled and sailed and hiked and drank rum and fell in love. I woke up every morning and looked out from the top of a mountain to a turquoise seascape with endless islands melting into the horizon. I highly recommend that everyone who can escape to an island for awhile, should.

I’ve been spying this website for quite a long time. It’s called escapeartist.com It’s a website helps folks that want to move abroad focus their searches and provides information on ALOT of places. It even has a section where you can look for real estate in forien countires. I have found it very interesting and while I have to admit that I havnen’t utilized any of the information personally, it seems well organized. Hope it helps someone out there and I hope you guys can help me start to use this vast information base for my own good too!

Having grown up surfing on the East Coast of Florida it was always a dream of mine to live in Hawaii…I’ve now been here for 7 months and it’s been awesome. If you can do it you should live right on the water. Best place to live…ever.
