It's not just changing my relationships, it's changing me! 2 months ago

After discussing the simple 4 steps with a counselor, and practicing a bit, I have been using this with my boyfriend and now with my family. I notice that it really works and saves us from an all out fight! Also, it is not only improving my relationships, but it is changing me. I am seeing things differently. I am acknowledging that usually others are not to blame for my feelings and unmet needs. I love NVC and would like to read the book about it!

still at this even when I'm not 8 months ago

I’m all over the place with feelings and attributing them to others and making a mess at communication. I would like to start again looking at how to do this.

Michelle gives me cupcakes for free with my coffee…one time she gave me a tart that she made herself that she wasn’t allowed to sell at the cafĂ©…I send her waves of gratitude…

Meditate and observe when you and others have given from the heart or withdrawn giving (because of a specific need)...this ties in with generosity…a foundation for happiness and kindness…

We aren’t just repeating ourselves. We are listening with new ears to things we only thought we heard before. I welcome listening to the story again and I can already tell it be fresh.

When we can talk and share what goes on inside us, I feel hope and redemption. My need for authenticity, autonomy, and acceptance are met. I feel amazement how we can talk after our workshop. This is a real celebration. Cheers!

That Tantra expands the sense of self so there is more to love, nonviolent communication practice opens me up more to love and wonder in people.

I like what I’m reading on http://www.cnvc.org/spirital.htm so far. Here, I can focus on love and being loving and what I am meant to be.
