If education is the key to independence, then consider me helpless when it comes to computers. But when I talk to classmates and buddies about my computer woes, they usually respond with, “Why would you take your computer in for THAT?!” And when they fix my computer problems for me, they usually quickly jump into some foreign blue screen of death and fix any problem within 30 seconds while I drool away with awe. Being computer-independent is so sexy. Anyone have any ideas on how I go about educating myself? I am pretty scared about tweaking away at my only computer.
