soo how do you do it
How to learn how to develop my own pictures
How I did it: Asked someone who already knew about it. Basically, for a CONTACT SHEET what you do is take the negatives on the reel of film into a photographer's dark room. You cut the film into little pieces to a certain size that will fit this sheet thing with glass that you then slot the negatives into. Underneath this you put photo paper, the shiny side should be facing up.
Then you adjust the enlarger (like an overhead light thing) to be the correct size to light up the whole sheet thing.
You then switch on the light, you can experiment to see what leaves you with the best results by counting different amounts of time (in 10 seconds) for different lines.
Then you put it in the developer tray, slosh it about abit.
Take it out, let excess liquid run off, then put it in the stop tray.
Take it out, let excess liquid run off, then put it in the fixer.
Wash it, let it dry.
I can't be bothered to type about making actual large prints, and this is only developing in black and white, by the way.
Lessons & tips: Some solutions have to be at a certain, very specific, temperature to work quickly like it's meant to. If it doesn't work, try mixing solutions again, using warmer water.
Resources: Internet's pretty good, actually.

ICAblue is on the verge of freedom
i’d like to be able to do this, i’ve got to do it for my D of E award anyway :]
I love to take photos and want to have my own darkroom. Having my own darkroom would make my life complete.
Its not hard to do once you learn the steps and times. Takes maybe 30 mins and you can do multiple rolls at a time. Great thing to know how to do.
