I found a hookah bar close to where I live called Tulip Hookah CafĂ©. It is only $10 to get in and it’s all you can smoke! I tried three different flavors. The first flavor tasted like skittles, the second like cinnamon, and the third like mint. It is a great alternative to smoking regular cigarettes if you don’t want to smell like gross smoke. The hookah bar was a chill place with good music and my friend and I actually stayed there for three hours. Definitely going back :) 1 week ago

In Minneapolis, places all over advertise hookah, but because of our smoking ban, you can’t actually smoke them. Stupid old advertisements. However, somehow in NYC bars get around this.
We walked past an Afghani restaurant in the East Village, where everyone was smoking, and I insisted that we go. So we went and smoked a pomegranate hookah. And we liked it so much that we did it again the next night. When I come back to NYC, I’ll do it again. Makes you feel like you’re in an opium den…but better, I suppose. 22 months ago
