I love going to a hookah bar with friends and smoking… it’s VERY relaxing!
How to go to a hookah bar
It made me

How I did it: My friends and I are all 18, so we went to a place called House of Hookah in Chicago. It's a small cafe with Arabic pop music playing, pillows on the floor, and mostly indie college kids. We tried two flavors, Strawberry Daquiri and Sex on the Peach. I had never smoked hookah before then, and it was pretty relaxing. Hookah doesn't get you high, it just gives you a little buzz, so it was nice that we didn't have to worry about driving home afterward. Overall, a cool experience
Lessons & tips: 1. If you're under 18, there are LOTS of places that don't card
2. Ask the people who work at the hookah bar what flavors they recommend so you don't pick something gross
3. It can be kind of expensive, so go with a lot of friends

Sahara East in NYC – pineapple. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t fantastic. I didn’t feel any different. I think the biggest problem was that I didn’t know most of the people I was with (friends of a friend) so I couldn’t just relax. I’d like to try again with friends, though.

Last Friday I finally got my chance to check out a hookah lounge. I had my first flavored (kiwi) tobacco experience, my first hookah experience and my very first Lebanese dish.

There use to be a “Velvet Hookah” down the street from my house. I guess they sold out because the place is called “Metro Retro” now. Not sure what it is now (I think it’s a bar.), wish I had the chance to go when it was the Velvet Hookah. There is another Velvet Hookah in Downtown Dallas. I just need to get on the ball, and go!

Finally got to go to one but it was in the L.A. county.
I tried two flavors. Strawberry was strong but the Melon was smooth.
Can’t say anymore about it. That’s for me to know! :) But its all yummy fun with good friends.

Went to this great place in New Brunswick NJ called Kairo Kafe http://www.kairokafe.com its a great place great food I had a lot of fun. Will be back again. Worth trying for sure.

HKAN on the Southside = sexy. despite that whole costing money thing that i didnt have to deal with when i was with my friends that owned their own, it was indefinetly the best. and unexpectedly almost too sweet. almost :)

I love hookah bars! They’re so fun just to hang out with your friends and smoke hookah. Apple and melon are delicious =]. hookah cafe’s are cool as well, more laid back, since hookah bars are louder and usually have belly dancers they’re more middle eastern I guess.
