A blue mountain bicycle
How to own a bicycle
How I did it: our move to a city where public transportation and cycling are emphasized really made a difference. it wouldn't have been possible for me to depend on the bus system and my bike living in the suburbian area we did in the south. now i'm an owner of an electra amsterdam and it's great. slightly heavy, but fabulous all the same.
Lessons & tips: do tons of googling to find communities and reviews of bicycles to help you get an idea of what you like/need. also talk with salespeople at different bike shops who'll offer guidance and let you test-ride different models.

I have a pretty new bike. I’ve ridden it twice, and it’s great. I’ll just be a weekend rider, but I think it’ll be a nice way to get fit.
Not a Dahon but a Huffy Ironman bike. The bike is rusty and needs alot of tweaking to make it workable for me. I talked to my friend who is a bicycling diva and she has given me tips on what I should ask for when I get my bicycle fixed. It will take me sometime next year get the bike and all bike related items together but it will be so worth it!!
One of the places that I volunteer at has a discarded bike. It is not a folding bike but it is in good condition. If no one claims it by tomorrow at 5pm, the bike is mine!!!!
I hate riding the bus. I had planned on owning a car but after reading a book about the cost of owning a car I would settle for a bike. Right now, I am trying to find a job that will allow me to bike to and from work. Get the job, get the bike.
I want a mountain bike to ride around my neighborhood, town, wilderness and beaches. Practice for triathlon and get in shape
