get rid of credit card debt

Just need to pay in a little bit more… I’ve got about GBP168 to pay into my account; so I’ll need to get a job to pay for that because I don’t think I’ll be able to pay it off with the money I have left to survive here for two months. I do need to eat, you know.

Looking at the bright side though, I’m getting closer to being out of debt! Woohoo!

just paid $700 of the $1700 I owe (thank heavens for my tiny credit limit!) and if I wanted to blow out all my savings I could pay it all off now- I’ve got $3000+ in checking, and $1100 in savings. I’m glad I’m employed!!

All of my cards recently upped the prime rate taking my normal 7 or 8% APR and pumping it to about 15%. So I balance transferred to my highest credit limit card for 8 months of 1.99%APR. I currently owe about $8500. I’ll get $4000 back with 2009’s tax return so it’s just about getting rid of that other $4500 in the next year.

I’d like to at least get all my debts on one card… but I have to be careful of my credit usage. I have one card with a 17000 limit. I can stay under credit usage limits, as long as they don’t lower the limit. We’ll see.

Well my car busted some hose in a crazy place and cost me $350. Definitely setting back paying of the Chase in May. Also, in May I’m going to be financing about $4000 for my eye surgery.

So I plan on paying off Chase if possible and if not, transferring the remaining balance to my Bank of America card, since it has the largest ‘available’ credit.

This way I can maintain my FICO score by not taking up all available credit on a card.

Thanks to my State and Federal Income Tax, and having already paid rent for May 2009, I should be able to pay off my Chase Card by May 1st at the earliest, or May 15th at the latest.

Leaving B of A as my only Credit Card debt.

The payments will be posting as soon as my recent deposits clear. Good bye Discover Card. Hello CHASE VISA. BOO.

My Discover Card will be paid off on the First Monday in April.

Only $700 left on my Discover Card. Once I pay that off, I’m going to start saving the cash to pay off my Chase card in my bank account.

I have the card down to 1800. If I pay it all off now, I’ll only have 100 bucks or so for the next two weeks. It won’t be enough to cover the other monthly expenses. Therefore, I can pay half now, and half during the next check period. Almost there though. Almost.
