    Why walk across europe... 21 months ago

    when there are so many other long walks to take?

    I’m just not sure Europe is my preferred destination anymore.

    I’d rather make a serious plan and work toward it than say someday I’ll do such and such.

    Back in 2002, I walked through Bavaria, Austrian Alps, northern Italy, Umbria, Tuscany, Sardinia, Corsica, and Provence. It wasn’t ALL of Europe, but it was great.
