I feel like such a dork adding this as a goal, but I realize more and more that the life I knew is now my childhood and it’s slowly fading away as the people I grew up with…grow up and outgrow.

Perhaps it’s silly and melodramatic, but it’s sad to see friends grow out of similar hobbies which drew us together in the first place, anime being one of them. I heard from a friend that Toonami aired it’s last episode yesterday, and though it’s been ages since I’ve actually watched anything on Cartoon Network, it made me realize I’ve done some growing and outgrowing myself.

Perhaps it’s just me hanging on too tightly to good memories, but I’d like to linger a little longer and reintroduce myself to this hobby.

As long as I’m responsible as an adult I see no problem entertaining my inner dork :P 4 years ago
