Nobody can force you to do ANYTHING, even when you are bound by law.

There is nothing that, with enough willpower and effort, one cannot learn.

There is a whole bunch of people who will deliberately hurt you if they only get the chance.
These people are sadists who take pleasure and pride in hurting those who are better than themselves.
It is a very nasty type of person, usually they present themselves as very docile and insecure, only to take the uttermost advantage of your trust and good-heartedness.
I’ve learnt this at my own expenses. Since I’ve finally come to realize the full destructive potential of these scumbags, starting today I commit to guarding myself against these vultures.
Those who, like me, are honest at heart, can be very vulnerable when confronted with ruthless people.
I do not want to be one of them, because I cherish my values, my goodheartedness and my honesty. But I consider it my moral duty not to allow anyone to take advantage of me this way.

That I was uncapable of doing this in the past doesn’t mean that I cannot start doing it now. Until recently, I stubbornly believed that if I liked/loved somebody, that feeling had to be mutual – even if maybe to different degrees. Well, it is not like that. On the contrary, some people exploit your feelings to destroy you, psychologically and socially.

All I need is one more chance. I really hope that my life has not been ruined for good by these disgraceful people. I promise I’ll never let them hurt me again.

And this time is for real.

when it’s cold, it’s better to put a coat on my pet to go for a walk: it might seem overprotective considering that most dogs live under the weather all their lives, but her fur is short and she is used to a very warm environment (i.e. my apartment), so when we go out she might catch a cold (or worse).
