Nate Berg is slowly losing his mind
time to practice
How I did it: practice practice practice... i watched the chinaman character in sweet lorrainne scene a few times. i pulled alot of shells out of the bowl at first...now i'm working on doing them two at a time
Lessons & tips: a taller bowl with a good sharp edge works good.

Wasn’t that hard once I tried it out, i haven’t mastered it yet, but that will take time.
This is one of those things that you really cant think about while you are doing it.

Took me 4 eggs to learn to properly crack the egg and pour the contents in the pan, without any eggshell pieces, with one hand.
Yum, 4-egg omelette for one.

If you relax and take it easy you could do it. I’ve been doing it ever since I was a little kid, just tap the egg gently enough so it cracks. This isnt great advice, but I hoped I helped.
Zaleya is ecstatic my candidate won in a landslide!!
Practice will make this goal do-able. So you might get a couple egg shells in the bowl, fish em out, no prob.

I love watching the TV chefs do this…but it is beyond me. I have tried and tried and just end up getting yolk and egg shell all over the place.
I had never really thought about it until I saw that this was someone’s goal…(now I see it’s quite a few people’s)... but I have always cracked eggs with only one hand. To me, cracking an egg with both hands would feel like tryng to use a pair or scissors with both hands or like holding a cup with both hands to take a drink.
I think this may be the first time that Ive “known how” to do something that other people wanted to… besides parallel parking… and that I DID have to learn.
Too bad I can’t cook worth a crap! Eggs are actually one of the only things I do know how to make.
