follow a band on tour

i think this would be one of those ‘once in a life time’ perfect experiences.

one day.. i hope i shall do it.

Metallica

Im hoping to do this in April
It may only be around 5 dates that I go to (the band hasnt announced the dates yet)
but im deffinatly going to do it
it’ll be my first time and im pretty excited already!

This is one of the best things to do. I’ve done it many times for a number of bands. I have spent days on the road, travelling and partying. The best tours are the ones were I became friends with the band (which is actually pretty easy if you make yourself noticed). I’ve made some life-long friends by doing this.

I followed them on their UK tour last years – did every gig except Sheffield coz I was ill and had to go home for a night :(
It was a great expirience, even though it was very tiring and cost me a lot of money. I also followed them to Amsterdam after the final night in the UK (London) – getting up at 7am after a mamoth aftershow party to get on a plane – and I’m scared of flying!!

I also followed Jason Mraz for 4 gigs on his recent UK tour – couldn’t afford to do any more else I would have done them all

so many bands, so little gas money….
