i’m only 11 but i’m interested in contortion. I’m always much more flexible than others but i don’t do gynastics. I’m read some stuff but I still don’t really know how I can start contortion training. Can anybody who knows how to do it help me a bit. thanks.
Well, at this point, I can touch my thumb all the way to my wrist in a way so that there’s no gap between my thumb and wrist. That one tends to freak people out.
I want to sit for the CPA Exam. Does anyone have a suggestion on which part I should take first?
I love the circus. I went to circus school in SF the semester I was there. I hope to attend the Beijing International Art School in Acrobatics (after Japan, so I guess I will be like 22-24 before I even get a chance, which is fine with me). It’ll give me a chance to learn Chinese and live in China, and go to circus school, and become a contortionist. I guess Beijing International Art School fulfills most of my goals. Hopefully I get accepted.
i love contortionism… i want to become one sooooo bad! but… i have no idea where to get the proper training or how to do it! can anyone help me with this?

One step at a time… flexibility first, then contortion.
Besides which, I’m thinking that I might rather pick up trapeze or spanish web rather than straight-up contortion. There are advantages and disadvantages to each (trapeze—dude… flying. contortion—dude… how cool would that be as a busking act?) but right now I’m not really in a physical position to persue either right away.

Becca asks,
“My spine has a slight bend in it, is contortionism still possible or willI have to get my back fixed (if possible) before attempting to move further?”
