I’ve recently become very interested in contortionism. I’m a ballet dancer and therefore are already kinda flexible but I want to take it beyond that.
Right now, I’m stretching everyday using the contortionists handbook, found at simplycircus.com. I’m also practicing hand balancing in my spare time. I have my splits down already and almost have my straddle. 5 months ago

I can touch my palms on the floor without bending my knees, I can almost do side splits, and I can bend back in an arch without having to start off the floor. Oh, I can put my feet behind my head (just one at a time though). I hope that’s good o: I just started really training myself yesterday :D 6 months ago

ok so im 19 years old but ive done my research and you can start training for this at 50 yrs and older granted it will take longer but im willing to make the commitment. i found a usefull site for people who are training to become contortionists its called the contortionists handbook you can google it, its really helpful too. 2 years ago
