I finished all of my Christmas shopping for others before Advent but because it was mainly online shopping I was not able to giftwrap the gifts that did not arrive yet.

In order to be able to keep the proper spiritual focus for Advent this year I plan on finishing as much preparation for Christmas as possible before the start of Advent. This means that my Christmas cards will be made out and sealed to be ready to simply stamp and mail when the Christmas stamps come out. My limited bought gifts will be bought and wrapped and the remaining homemade gifts will have their supplies bought and most of the way underway. Decoration will be a don’t care as the only decorations that I put up is a small nativity and an advent wreath. Finally by necessity things such as home baked gifts will be put off till the day before to ensure that they are fresh.
