Doctors Without Borders is an awesome organization. If you’d like to help Trauma_Junkie (who has worked with DWB in Africa) raise funds for them, you can go HERE and make a donation. Any amount, no matter how small, helps.

I too made a donation on Holly’s birthday to this exceptionally important cause. I hope you are feeling better, Holly!

JudithKD We aren't giving up on things anymore?
as DH and I are trying to eliminate our credit cards, I don’t want to do a donation online. But I can send a check if I know an address!

Donation Made
I made my donation back on Holly’s birthday prior to her injuries. Even though she’s not running the marathon tomorrow, Doctors Without Borders is still a wonderful organization to donate to in her name. You can make a donation here. Plus be sure to give TJ some moral support too by encouraging her to heal up before doing more long runs.

but I’ll keep the goal posted until the deadline in an effort to spread the word.

Bob1623 Be the Fountain, not the Drain.
I added this to my goals after I made the contribution so I could keep up with TJ and how she does on this.
Then I saw her entry where she is hurting and most likely will not be able to run this in November.
Well, SUPPORT means not just handing over money, but encouraging one to do their best and not give that person grief if something unexpected happens, injury or otherwise.
TJ, everyone has faith in you and know you will give your best effort, either Nov 14 or at a later date.

Go here and pledge a few bucks. You’ll be encouraging Trauma Junkie and making life a little easier for folks less fortunate than yourself.
