I booked a week in Tignes for the beginning of April. I went there last year in March, so it’ll be exciting to go back to runs I had so much fun on. I totally lucked out on my deal as well. At this late notice I could only find catered chalets and I hate sharing! Sharing with old people in Courchevel last year was bloody hard work! I found myself hiding out in Internet shops and bars just to avoid going back! They told me off one day for squeezing toothpaste down the back of some lads boxer shorts when he was asleep. It was his fault he didn’t lock his door! :D
The only hotels I could find were really expensive, and while I don’t mind paying my friend Simon who’s coming along is a big lad, and I don’t think he could afford that and food on top of everything!
Just before I left for work this afternoon I gave up on all the sites I was searching through and gave one other a quick go! They only had the one good deal on there which was a catered hotel that was actually cheaper than all the chalets! I never thought we’d be able to afford an available hotel in Tignes.
And what’s great is that not only are the slopes superb there but the nightlife is pretty good from what I remember too!
We’re buying two way radios and coming up with a load of games that result in the loser doing press ups! I’m sooooooooooooooo excited!!!!

I’m frustrated. None of my friends can get time off work before April next year because they’ve used up this years annual leave. I can’t wait that long to go boarding! I bet money I’ll have to go out by myself again!
I just bought these because I’m fed up of always having to adjust to horrible boots, that have been worn by smelly people, and make my feet sore.
Anyone else got them? I wont be able to try them out until the 10th of May.
I live in London so as much as possible is a couple of weeks a year going to the Alps and dry slopes every few weeks.
Meh, I’m crying inside.
I can’t ride every weekend…only sometimes on holydays as i live too far from the mountains but I like to travel. I like to ride because when you are riding you are absolutely alone and you see only snow and majestic mountains. so, my dream is to snowboard more often.
Not only have I had the ability to do this- but I have put together a snowboarding club at our school so that others can enjoy snowboarding …
great sport

Best point in my life. I swore I would never live somewhere where I couldn’t ride everyday. I told all of my friends to beat me upside the head if I ever did. Well, now I’m in Paris, France, and my friends aren’t beating me upside the head. Good friends? They did question me. Well I’m moving back to the mountains very soon where I can ride everyday. This lifestyle isn’t the best if you want to make money. Partly why I left it – to go do something with my bachelors degree in fine art and photography. Well I did something with my degree for 4 years. Snowboarding everyday made me feel better. I need to find a balance of a decent job that I can have which still allows me to ride all of the time, and to be finacially successfull and satisfied in my work life.
