I have wanted to do this for a very long time, but never got around to it. Hopefully I will find the time to do so and start processing those photo’s I’ve kept on my computer.

How I did it: My girlfriend and I gathered pictures and tickets from events this year (eg concerts, Cirque de Soliel) and pasted them in. We are also using this as motivational too. We've found pictures of places we want to visit and things we want to do. We printed them out and placed them in this book as well. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm not new to scrapbooking so it wasn't like I was trying to just start something entirely new. But I haven't done it in any regular way for years and I've had a bunch of pictures I wanted to put together of my boyfriend and I - even though they're on facebook, it isn't as much fun to look at as a handmade decorated book :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I bought a "memory book", which was a spiral bound book with 35 cardstock pages inside.I printed a crapload of pictures.I spent countless hours cutting and gluing, and stressing out about straight lines.By the end, I didn't even want to touch it any more! But I know that once I get it back, I'll enjoy the fact that it's done! lauren_lay should be working,..
How I did it: I've always wanted to start a scrapbook but always told myself I dont have enough time.... well I finally realized that I needed to make time for the scrapbook, just as I made time for the memories that I will be placing in the book. Today will be my first day piecing it all together... wish me luck! Read how I did it…

I love love love to scrapbook. It started about five years ago when my mother was hospitalized. There was a scrapbook store down from her hospital that I would stop in almost everyday. One day when I was there I saw that they were holding classes. I convinced my aunt to sign up with me so that I could do something different than sitting by my mothers bed. Well I have been hooked every since. I love the way that I can express my creativity and chronicle the life of those that I love. So yes scrapbooking is the bomb! I must say however that if you allow it to be it can be rather expensive between the pretty paper, the adhesives, photos, books, and lets not talk about the embellishments.
Movie tickets, theater programs, funny notes, even a newspaper article or two (I’M FAMOUS)—I can’t throw them away and I can’t enjoy them while they’re in a box.
I’ve done this! Today I went through the old scrapbook pages and glued most of them into my scrapbook with the rubber cement I bought at the office supplies store. I made some alterations to the pre-made pages and added a couple of Taekwon-Do newsletters and pictures of my various trips to Arizona to visit my grandmother to the book. I’m not making this scrapbook with any specific theme, it’s more of a collage of memories from various parts of my childhood. I found making the collage to be a very relaxing process, almost like journaling.
I cleaned my room today and in a drawer in my desk I discovered a whole pile of old scrapbook stuff. I found my old scrapbook that I started years ago and abandoned, complete with scrapbook pages already made, just not pasted into the book. It was like discovering hidden treasure. It will make starting this project so much easier. I plan on pasting the extra pages in this week and taking it with me when I go back to school in January. I got a digital camera for Christmas. That, plus the pictures stored on my hard-drive, should make for a great combination of beautiful memories.
Well, I went to the hobby lobby here in Santa Fe and they have rows and rows of all the scrap booking supplies that I could ever want. Unfortunately, I’m very low on cash at the moment and am trying to save for Christmas presents, so I can’t really buy anything now, but at least I know where to go when I have some spare cash again.
I just don’t think I keep enough flyers, tickets and take enough pictures for this. My scrap book looks like any other journal. The idea sounded like fun and I will continue to add on to my book until it’s filled.
scrapbooking is soooo fun! and if you hvn’t looked through it in a while.. you may end up smiling at all the memories..
So the scrap book has been started, is my goal completed. I don’t know, why don’t i wait and write about the cool things I am adding to it.
