what do you mean rice is boring!?

i just recently acquired a rice cooker and have been itching to figure out its capabilities (they are supposed to be useful for far more than your average bland white grain). the rice pudding did not work, thanks to my miscalculation involving milk and water, but i ordered ((trumpets and fanfare)) the “ultimate rice cooker cookbook – 250 recipes” and it arrived in the mail last week! haven’t tried anything from it yet, but i am very excited. just need some free time to experiment!
