plan my weekends in advance

You see so much more, and you look forward to the activities. I have planned the last 3 weekends, and am trying to plan next weekend as well. I have started using a calendar.

I don’t know when I can actually write this off – but I have been trying to make plans in advance to do things that I haven’t done, and I have been very successful lately. Tonight I am going with some friends to play trivia at a pub. Last night I watched my husband and a friend put a distributor cap on our car. The night before we cooked dinner with some of our friends. We went to the beach this weekend. Last weekend I went to Knoxville for a visit, the weekend before I went to Columbia.

When I say new experiences, I mean anything that takes me out of my regular schedule. For example, today, my father will come over after work to show me how to replace the heating element in my dryer. It might not be the most fun, but it will certainly be new.
