If I could cheer myself... 3 years ago

I have been steady and sure about this goal, and reestablished a habit that I loved in the past, and am really happy to continue in the future.

The first entry is the hardest 3 years ago

because it feels like it sets the tone for the whole journal. It doesn’t really, but it feels that way. Like if I write a poem down, then I feel like it will be a poetry driven book. If I write a 43 down, then it will be full of 43s. I need to just get over it and scribble really big “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU DO AS LONG AS YOU DO IT.”

My husband got me a new journal for my birthday 3 years ago

and I have yet to write in it, but I will soon. I have put my old journal on the shelf and brought it out today to reference something, but I am about to clear this goal, and thus get myself better in touch with myself. yeay.

Still going 3 years ago

I use my journal not everyday, but very frequently. I pick it up when I need to make note of something (like yesterday I wrote a recipe in it) or when I am bored.

I am very comfortable with my current use.

I just need a new one now. Maybe on my birthday.

I'm am doing so well 3 years ago

The journal I have was originally started on 11-5-02, and now it is almost full! I have been adding entries each day atleast once for a week now, and I am so happy that I am.

I intend to buy a new journal, and when I start using it regularly, I will consider this goal sufficed.

since the journal has been in the bag 3 years ago

I have used it with regularity. am also trying to combine the quit smoking goal with the journaling goal, so that if I want a cigarette maybe I can just draw a picture of it instead.

Just put the journal in my bag 3 years ago

Probably a good place to start with any goal is making sure you always have the tools necessary to complete them. I used to have my journal in my bag at all times. That’s not 100% true – I used to have my journal in my lap 50% and then it was in the bag 50%. Thinking about it makes me so confused as to what ever happened.

Untitled 4 years ago

I used to be glued to my journal, and it was lucky if I ever came out for a breath. I started dating and then got married to my husband, and during all of it I was trying to do “group/ sharing activities”. I need to get back to making myself happy so I can make the people around me happy as well.
