i teach my self contortion i am 11 years old and can already do a forearm balance,standing backbend,contortion split,contortion handstand and more :)
How I did it: i actually looked on youtube and watching other people i learned how to bend the same way they did i took gymnastics and i am either going to take acro or gymnastics again but i had no idea how flexible i am i am only in 6th grade but some of my friends are gymnasts and flexible to so they helped me out as well it was amazing learning it all u really have to do is practice and stretch probly stretch at least a hour before because certain moves do cause injurys like standing backbends one time i almost fell if i did i could of broke my neck . forarm balances if u fall forward and u have not learned enough u may break ur spine or back possibly but it is great to learn a new sport all u have to do is stretch and practice!
Lessons & tips: if u live in America we possibly do not have contortion places here i live in Missouri and there are no contortion places but just may be watch videos and they do have like wikki how where u can learn moves but we do have acro ,acro u do gymnastics,dance,and contortion so u learn a lot as well
