Now, some of you who have chosen to befriend Mr. Enore, and who have supported freedom in Iran, and some who have chosen to use the green avatars, have been strongly insulted by this jerk off, who has said that only people living in Iran should care about this, and that he hopes “the whole fucking place burns.” Gee, what a wonderful thing to say, let’s all be friends with this oh so wonderful person who thinks that way.

This lying hypocrite once told me that he wouldn’t speak out against racism, because he “doesn’t want to tell other people how to think.” Bullshit! He wants to tell you how to think! He has repeatedly said that people should only care about themselves. And this person who once called me a “fucking pompous condescending asshole”, is the pot who calls the kettle black. He wants to tell you how to think, and he only cares about himself, but oh, he’s just Mister Wise, and Mister Logical. Double Bullshit! Using his warped logic, if we’re only supposed to care about ourselves, then WTF will care about him, and WTF should we?

In closing here’s a salute to Enore

...because although I don’t believe he has yet done the deed, I feel slightly uncomfortable waiting around for it to happen; it seems like game playing and that’s not where I wish to be. Also, patience is not one of my strongest virtues!

I’ve blocked him and I think that will suffice; it’s not as if I have any need to know what he thinks of me, my posts or my beliefs so there’s no reason to leave an opening for dialogue.

I’m fairly new to this site and met my first friend, the lovely Nudie, through inadvertantly becoming involved in an, errrm, spat (?!) involving Enore.

Subsequent to that exchange I read a few of the posts he’d made, didn’t like what I saw too much but thought, “Hey, live and let live, I don’t need to read this stuff”, and just left him be. After all, I had quoted Voltaire to him during our discussion and had committed myself to the right of another to speak their opinion.

However, I have read further and deeper and have realised that Enore does not accord to others the privilege he demands for himself. By his own failure to acknowledge the intrinsic rule within such a belief as freedom of speech, i.e. that everyone has the right to be heard, without fear of threat, intimidation or harassment , he loses his own right to be heard; just like a thief deserves to lose their societal privileges for failing to respect the rights of others. Enore should lose his platform.

Very recently I privately wrote this about Enore;

“He’s like the rather ‘off’ uncle at a family gathering; he enjoys sparking a reaction so you take a lot of what he says with a fistful of salt and a willingness to see the funny side, or risk playing into his weird and warped sense of humour. When he oversteps the line, you turn into Lady Bracknell (tell me you know ‘The Importance of being Earnest’, or that joke’s wasted?!) and put him back in his place. Ach! It was it bit dodgy I suppose, but I found it amusing in the context of the thread :) It’s not like I’ve become a fan of his!”

I RETRACT IT ALL, except the bit about not becoming a fan!!! And I would like to sincerely say, “I’m sorry”, to all the other people who have been affected by a post where I decided it was ‘none of my business’ and walked on by when I should have stayed and been counted. I was being a coward and didn’t want to bring that particular brand of vitriol on my head.

If you’re reading this Enore, there was the odd glimmer of fun and humanity in you, but certainly not enough to make it worth wading through the bile and hatred that pour forth from you. Remember what I once said about people needing someone to stand up for them sometimes? Well there are clearly members of this site who have such a need; to be defended from you. People have left an incredibly valuable source of support because of things you’ve said. To me, that’s intolerable. This is my way of standing up for them.

I came to this site because I wanted to change myself and my life. I came because of the positivity and the support. I came to become a better person. I’m damned if Enore is going to be another bully in my life, keeping me quiet through fear.

Yeah, it was worth it, and I’d help someone get blocked by him. Shit, I think getting blocked by him, should be considered a compliment.

I’m flabbergasted, and have no words of my own. I’ll bow out with a quote from the great Unc himself: -

I don’t agree with him, and furthermore, since he’s blocked Roxi and I, it appears he doesn’t agree with himself.
