close out old accounts

the last step is about to be made soon. i’ve already paid in full my debt, and all i have to do is make the call. now i just have to wait.

so, even without any effort on my part, thankfully this will be gone in a week. i completely forgot about direct depositing from one of my jobs-so this first paycheck of the year will go to paying off my credit card and checking account, and then all i have to do is make the call to cancel out my account officially. cool.
i’ve gone and gotten a new account at a credit union, and i already feel like it’s a better idea than the last. i knew when i was signing up for bank of america that they had fees and charges and all sorts of stuff. i am worried about applying for a new credit card, so i’m deciding to wait until things get a little more secure. thankfully, it’s really not that bad considering i’m doing a great job of managing my money. now if my waistline would just follow suit!
