ride the train around the country

It was a blast. Fron San Francisco down to LA. Slept overnight in the LA train station. Rather trippy. Across New Mexico and Arizona. Into Texas. Visted friends in Dallas. spent the night in the San Antonio train station, along with about a half a dozen other people. That train station was tiny, so it wasn’t like LA. Landed in New Orleans just in time for Mardi Gras. Ordered a pizza from Dominos and had it delivered to the train station. Someone offered to sell me some shrooms. I declined. Up through Chicago. Had a slice of pizza. Up north more and then cut west through all those cold northern states. In Montana there was a train derailment ahead of us. Amtrak put everyone up in a hotel for 3 days. Had to be flown out. I flew out through Salt Lake City. That place was a trip. Got harrassed by the nazi looking morman security guards. Flew to Portland. Took the train down to Corvallis. Almost got laid on the train but I had to get off the train in 5 minutes to visit my mom. Almost ditched seeing my mom. Almost wished I did. She was freaked out about how I looked. “The only people around here who look like you are street people.” Long freaky hair, beard. Pierced ears. Black denim jacket covered with buttons. Took the train back down to Oakland. Woo-hoo!
