I want to save money for my wedding and me and my fiance’s move to Los Angeles in two years. Thinking about finances, I’ve realized that I spend more than $7 a day buying more than one cup of coffee outside of the home. Sometimes, I switch to tea and make tea at home. But, when I forget, I feel like a fool spending $3 on tea, which I can make at home for 30 cents. So, I’d like to manage my coffee purchases better. I’d like to drink tea at home instead and have coffee at coffee shops occasionally.

That’s all I have to say…

It’s hard…

The good thing is, I think I might be able to satisfy part of my “habit” with decaf…I honestly and truly love and crave the taste of coffee…

We’ll see how that works out for me…

...after i finish this last cup… :P

I think I drink too much coffee, but when I don’t drink it I have a tremendous headache. I am going to try to cut down and drink one less cup a day.

Okay, technically I have done this. I’m not drinking the half a pot of coffee that I was drinking. I don’t think I’ve completely kicked the habit though, so I’m going to leave this up until I do.

But it's so GOOD! 8 months ago

Drinking at least 1 every hour. I know it’s probably not so good for me, but still, can’t stop.

this one’s for my teeth, and my wallet. apparently the acidity in coffee may be what’s causing my new cavities. i went my first 25 years without a cavity and then my luck changed. the only dietary change i made was i started drinking lattes…so it’s either the coffee or the milk. consequently i’m trying to cut back.

so far i haven’t done so well – coffee yesterday and today. tomorrow might be better

I’ve reduced my coffee intake drastically over the past month. I went from 4 cups to 2 cups a day. I can’t imagine my life without coffee in it, it does have some health benefits. I just wanted to stop drinking a whole pot a day. I would like to get down to maybe even one cup and that will be enough to satisfy my habit.

Just for a little while 9 months ago

My ulcers would really really like me to stop drinking coffee but so far I just can’t do it. I’ve given up most other drinks and only have water and coffee left. I don’t want to get out of bed if a cup of water is all i have to look forward to. I only have two cups a day right now and would like to get it down to one or zero.
