I bought the balloons! Now just waiting for a hot day, and maybe some supersoakers. :D
How I did it: Me and my cousins used to do this every year on the festival of colors - Holi. We used to fill the ballons with colored water and we used to throw them on each other and people in the street; it was very common and we enjoyed it a lot.

It’s the perfect weather for it. In my imagination the perfect water balloon fight happens in swimsuits on a day with 90 degree weather in the burning Texas sun. I also want there to be supersoakers, and silly string. And shaving cream. And then to jump in the pool afterwards.
So, so awesome.

So, had the water balloon fight on Saturday. We used the footage for the band’s third video. David already sent me the first edit. I love it, so far…I don’t see many additional updates. This was the most fun. I couldn’t stop smiling.

for August 9th = We are gathering up two teams of people. Right now, I have a group of 10. We’re going to need a lot of balloons. The result will be the band’s 3rd music video. We are looking forward to doing this.

Always fun!! =D
This was so much fun back in the day, before the drought really set in and water restrictions became common-place =(
My friends and I wanted to have some good old fasioned fun while away at school so we planned a giant water balloon and over 50 people planned to attend! Well only about 15 showed up but that just meant more water balloons for everyone else (4 of us had filled up about 600 that morning). It was a total blast, but the coolest thing was after the fight was over, we went tubing down a river which is one of my other goals on this site! Two knocked out in one day!
squirrella admits life is full of surprises.
if there are kids involved, that they’re old enough to get what’s going on. My six year old niece cried when she got hit with one. Maybe she’s just a wimp. :) Either way, that water balloon fight wasn’t much fun, but I’ve been in several that were awesome.
One christmas my brother got 4 100 packets of waterballons from my other brother for christmas and took them with him to my grandmothers for christmas lunch and dinner with all the relatives…perhaps not the smartest idea…especially if you know my brother. Anyway long story short my brother threw a waterballon at my 20 year old cousin and it was on for young and old…well young against old. Myself 14, and all the cousins older than me 15, 18, 20, 22 except the eldest 24, aginst all the cousins younger than me 11, 9, 8, 6.
It was a great war. Waterballons flying, hoses squirting, taps gushing but unfortunatley on the olderside having only a half a packet of ballons we grabbed off the table we soon ran out of ammo…but not to fear, through necessity breeds rescourcefulness ro deceiptfullness is prehaps more accurate. I approched the enemy to …well to put it truthfully steat their ammo, ´Give me some of your ballons´ I said ´I´ll help you´I said and of course like most youngers, they gave in and of course like most olders i was pulling a sneaky trick.
With fuel restocked the battle raged on, each side becoming wetter and wetter…it seemed like htere would be no clear victor until the original ballon victim (20) spotted a bucket. Just as it was filled and ready to be hurled at the enemy came the ringing cry that stops all wars…´Desserts Ready!` THat was it, drop every thing and head inside…well almost beacause my brother turnded around to run to the house and SPLOOSH! He was soaked. The bucket had drenched him to the bone. He approaches the house door to seize dessert and my aunt stops him and says ´You´re too wet to come inside…you´ll have to wait until you are dry´ Well that did it. The war was won; victore…the olders (who did you think it would be). The christmas battle was over, but is still not forgotten.
