September 2009 List 2 months ago

    - Read 6 books of any format.
    - Read at least 1 book from TBR list (try for 2, since I am behind on this goal by a lot).
    - Exercise a lot (gym, bike, walking everywhere).
    - Fix car windshield (still).
    - Be all packed and ready to move by the 15th. Actually move somewhere between the 15th and the 20th.
    - Find some people to help me move.
    - Arrange for moving truck.
    - Go through everything I own, de-clutter, and downsize while I pack it all up.

    - Write some blog entries.
    - Give away/throw away/get rid of unwanted furniture in current apartment.
    - Make list of everything that needs to be cleaned in old apartment and MAKE ROOMMATE HELP ME DO THIS. I’m seriously worried about him slacking and me having to do the whole thing myself and I WANT MY GODDAMNED DEPOSIT BACK. Jerk.

    - Have “constructive living criticism” conversation with soon-to-be-ex-roommate. Someone needs to get him in line.
    - Lose some more pounds (currently at 135).
    - Make 1 debt payment.
    - Take on some extra house sitting work.
    - Patiently await his return to me. (or not…who knows?)
    - Drive only when absolutely necessary for the move.

    For August 3 months ago

For August, I literally just took my July list, changed the date and added a few things to it. I didn’t get anything accomplished in July except crying and being miserable.

Here’s to a new month and a fresh start!

May 2009 List 7 months ago

I did okay on things last month. For some reason, I was horribly exhausted the entire month, and very unmotivated because of this. I wasn’t sick, though my allergies did me in pretty well, but instead I just felt…run down. Things will be better next month, I hope.

    - Read 5 books of any format.
    - Make production bonus at work.
    - Get back into gym/exercise habit (let this slack quite a bit in April).
    - Drive less than 200 miles.
    - 100% attendance at work.
    - Finish blog, for the love of god!
    - Keep writing that SOMETHING I started on last month (yay).
    - Go out to nice dinner with K.
    - Watch my spending.
    - Keep up with the Eat To Live lifestyle (or, my vague interpretation of it).
    - Get bike in working order.
    - Go out with girl-friends or dude-friends a few times. Stop relying on K for all social interaction.

    - Once the bike is working, stop driving to work entirely.
    - Accomplish general decluttering of apartment.
    - Look into moving options with K.

April 2009 List 8 months ago

Wow, I did terribly with my list for last month. So much distraction, so many things that did not go they way they were suppose to. Such is life, I suppose. Going to try to be more motivated this month. It’s a fresh start. I like fresh starts.

    - Read 4 books. Try not to get all obsessive and let books take over my life again this month (sigh).
    - Go to gym/exercise 4 times a week.
    - TAXES (today if possible).
    - Pick up bike from Mace (tomorrow).

    - Make production bonus at work.
    - 100% attendance at work.
    - Finish designing and start updating blog. For real, this time!
    - Write SOMETHING, anything. (I swear, my reading habit makes it impossible to get anything accomplished in this area. Really, really need to cut that back some.)
    - Attempt to be at least somewhat social a few times.

    - Take K out for nice dinner with my tax refund.
    - Accomplish general decluttering of apartment.
    - Drive 250 miles or less (yay bike).
    - Get my roommate to pay me the money he owes me for the Comcast bill. It’s now 3 months worth that he owes me!
    - Only drive to work once or twice (at most) a week.
