Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

I never made this one of my goals… I dont think anyone should, but to each his/her own…
I do remember seeing them when they were out a couple years back… R. Kelly needs to sit down somewhere.
Love his music, but this little miny flick was not only a waste of time, but production staff, money and breath! lol
It had it’s funny moments, but I wouldn’t say they were ha ha funny… More like, this is saaad.
I was laughing at, not with.
And maybe the worst part about it was… he was serious…

Honestly it was soo long ago, I dont remember everything, there were soo many twist and turns and b*llshyt…I know one thing though…
He wont be wasting 45 mins of my life ever again…LMAO! 5 years ago

KrahkaAND THEN I PULLED OUT MY GUN!

SUCH INTENSE GENIUS!!!

I watched all tweleve parts in one sitting on YouTube. He is truely the William Shakespeare of our age, and this is a true masterpiece. If our entire society, if every single work of culture were to be utterly obliterated, this would be the one thing that I would save for future generations.
I am showing it to every alien lifeform I meet, so as to tell them what it means to be human.

The whole thing is so rediculous, by which we mean REDICULOUSLY AWESOME.

I’m not normally a fan of rap, for reasons that have very little to do with the actual format of rap. But if every song in the galaxy were like this, or more like it, every music video in the universe were more like this, then there would be world peace.

The whole visionary epic brought a tear to mine eye. R Kelly is truly a man of great vision. sniff7 years ago

langenoireoh gods in heaven

I saw this once, by accident. I was flipping through channels and it was on BET. I paused, for some reason, and once I got started watching it I found myself entranced. You know the sort of immobilizing shock of horror that sometimes comes over people when they witness something terrible? It was like that. The song was bad, the video was horrible, the entire thing was so utterly urban-legend cliche! I’m no fan of R. Kelly, honestly, but so much is made of him by others, I thought I should check it out, maybe give it a chance; I was wrong. Mea culpa, maxima culpa. Don’t make the mistake I did. Stay away from this video. Those are minutes of your life you’ll never get back. 7 years ago
