never get divorced

Like the song says, when I said “I do,” I meant that I WILL, ‘til the end of all time…

my mom has got divorced, or something like it, 4 different times. and i don’t want to put my own children through that. but if it has to happen, it will.

i’d like to think that out of six billion people in this world, it’d be easy to find someone that you could completely get along with for years and years and years on end. and not just get along with, but love with all your heart. and never find a reason to terminate the “i do” of the relationship.

I’m counting this as finished, even though we’ve only been married for three years. We talked a lot about this before we decided to get married, and we both agree that marriage is a life-long experience. When we said ‘I do’, that was it. Whatever comes our way, we’re gonna weather through it. Nobody said marriage is easy, and a lot of times it’s not. But God’s design and plan for marriage is a beautiful thing and we want to honor it!

I love my husband and want to be with him always.
