I want this for a long time. I’ve a strange kind of likeness for animals I guess. I like snakes, and spiders and salamanders. I’m affraid of dogs and horses. :) Well, then again, do like the softness of cats and fluffyness of sheep.

How I did it: I did it twice. At the Renaissance fair I got really drunk and forced myself to do it. I also went to the Orange County fair, and took a picture with a boa constrictor with a friend. I got the tail end and put it's body on my shoulder. Faked a smile for the camera and got the heck out. It started to wrap it's body around my neck cause it was cold that night. Read how I did it…
How I did it: There was a snake handler at the local festival and you can go up and touch and hold them, since then every year i spend ages there holding snakes and lizards and all sorts Read how I did it…

How I did it: Snakes are awesome animals. first time I touched one was in a museum, during a presention. In the start, we weren't told that this presentation included actually holding the animals, but when they told us, several people (including a lady next to me) sprang to their feet in horror and left the room. The others, however (inlcuding me, all excited about it), listened to the presentation. Then, one of the men came up to me and put a snake ar… Read how I did it…

It gives me the creeps to even think about this one.
I’ve never held a snake before so I’m looking at facing my fear and hold one before 2009 ends.
I was at Sentosa island in Singapore. There were some guys with big snakes that people could hold.
It seemed like an exciting idea at a distance, but when I got the big, cold, living snake on my shoulders and it started to move its head towards my arm, I became a bit scared!!
It is definitely worth trying! Something I’ll always remember and something that made me feel really alive at the moment. But I don’t know if I would do it again :)

I held this huge 125 lb Albino Burmese Python about 9 yrs ago with Henry. I couldn’t hold it all by myself. It took Henry, myself, and another guy and it was still heavy. I was a little scared.
Scary. While doing that, just wondering what would happen if she bites me.
Well… i prefer guineapigs.
I got to hold a corn snake and a python this spring when a naturalist came to my college! I fell in love with snakes all over again, it’s nice seeing them up close and feeling their smooth scales and seeing how docile they are. It amazes to be so close to something that could kill me if it wanted to. I may look into getting myself a corn, I fell completely in love with the one I was holding.

The sexiest thing ever, snakes are passionate creatures according to the chineese astrology and i trully believe that, as well they move with a sexy rhythm. Trully amazing. When i 1st held a snake i was in absolout awe with her she was so tame but you could feel the power within her like she would let you hold her but only because it was ok for THAT time. I would love a snake but my mum is teriffied and as i dont have a place of my own i will have to wait.

Was worth it but won’t do it again
I held a boa constricter in Mexico and it was entirely too close to my neck…glad I can say I did it though
Did this twice. Both were years ago. One was when I was at school (on a school trip I think) – I had it round my neck too, and one was on a visit to a butterfly house (I think) – I had picture of me taken with it.
