    nathan  — 1 year ago

he is such a blessing! he really got into the whole “open-present” thing this year. he got really upset when my grandma wouldn’t let him open the gifts that were for the neighbors. my mom said he woke up in the middle of the night trying to open his pillowcase. Here he is playing with the Mr.Potato head I got him. He always has to wear his hat.

he is so smart!  — 1 year ago

he is only about 20 months. my mom said they went to McDonalds and he always gets chicken nuggets—”duggets” and they got cheesburgers…he pointed to them and said “crabby patty” (in baby voice). so cute.

missing birthdays  — 2 years ago

getting to the point in life where i’m starting to miss birthdays because of work. BUT! i did go on a roller-coaster because my niece wanted me to, even though i’m deathly afraid of them. i wonder how i will be able to grow up with them.

my little doll  — 2 years ago

They came last weekend and he says my name (kind of) and points to me now! He is sooo adorable.

doing well  — 2 years ago

not going to tick this off as I don’t want to stop focusing on it but feel I am doing pretty well on this, me and Oli are forming a bond, is amazing to go visit him and to see him smile when I walk in. With a week long family holiday coming up things can only get better, although might have to face that first nappy soon! :(

very happy  — 2 years ago

went to visit my sister last weekend and she asked me to take oli out for a walk, by myself, first time he has been away from his parents, felt very honoured that she trusted me so much, as well as a little nervous – what do you do with babies! anyway, all went very well, he was as good as gold :)

long distance auntie  — 2 years ago

its hard because i never get to see my little nephew. hes only a year old so he doesn’t even know me.

    6-year-olds  — 2 years ago

i saw the little monkeys a couple of weeks ago. after dinner, i took them to go get boba across the street and taught them the concept of mind over matter. they got with it and eventually stopped whining about how cold it was because they were thinking about vegas in the summer. it makes me happy that they’re such great people.
