Finish remodeling our house.

This has taken forever with going back to graduate school and work taking up so much time. My goal is to have everything done by April 2009. This one is really holding up me getting a lot of my other goals completed.

But smaller. I think I will start this one as soon as the credit card debt is gone! We have SO many unfinished projects! We just need to pick a room and just FINISH it!!!
We can start with the least expensive ones.

The plumber comes tomorrow to change out the radiators. That will leave us some room in our bathroom again since we’ve been storing them there, which means we can hopefully actually finish the bathroom soon.

4,5,6 are also done plus we sawed the railway sleeper last night to make it into an outdoor bench for our herbs.

Well 1, 2 and 3 are done in the bathroom so pat on the back for DH. Plus we finally got the living room in order. We bought a desk from Ikea on Friday and got both computers up – one for each of us : ) Once we get a printer/scanner I will be able to occupy myself endlessly on the world wide web.

1. Scrape paint from walls
2. Coat walls with sealant
3. Paint on base coat
4. Apply polyfilla
5. Sand walls
6. Paint 1st coat
7. More pollyfilla
8. More sanding
9. Paint final coat
10. Phew! Then we can work on installing the side of the bath, doing the floor, adding a shelf, finishing the cupboard, etc

This is really down to my husband, but I have to keep encouraging and keep a careful eye on him because he is easily sidetracked. It all begins this Friday when his summer break begins.
