Meet William Shatner

I started watching Star Trek as a kid (reruns of TOS). It would be great to hear him tell some of his more interesting stories. I’ve enjoyed watching him on Boston Legal.

I met him when he flew on the airline I worked for. He is one cool dude! :D

I purchased the domain www.iwanttomeetbillshatner.com so I could generate enough interest to get him to meet me. I’m not nuts for the dude or anything but lets face it. My choir participated in the premier of the song “Exodus” (which lasted a good hour), and William Shatner narrated in person. He was a pretty funny and charismatic guy even in person. During rehearsal, his most memorable line was “And God said… we’re off by a bar!!!”

Just caught this last week on Discovery. Didn’t watch all of it, but you have to admit the dude has had an impact.

I’d also like add that he’s a Canuck like me. Maybe I can convince him to come to an East Coast bar for some “sociables.”

Ok so not only do I want to meet William Shatner, but I want him to marry me. Not actually marry me, but be the minister who says the vows. Seriously could you imagine him saying:
“I now pronounce you man and wife….ENERGIZE!”

Okay, so I didn’t MEET him. But he definitely smiled at me. :D
