teach in another country

I taught English to 2 French children, Elvire and Guillaume. I lived with a family and became part of their family for 3 months in summer 2006. I’m glad I did this, it was an experience, but it was really really hard. I knew hardly any French when I went over there, and the child I was teaching was a pretty difficult kid. I will always remember it though and I met some awesome people while I was there.

It’s not a goal I am focusing on at all, but while looking at opportunities to gain Master’s credits in a non-trad way, I researched a Fulbright Teaching Assistant Scholarship. Who knows…I like Costa Rica, Argentina, or France.

but not ready. The TESOL cert. was a HUGE achievement for me but Im too scared to actually go out and do it. BIG CHICKEN

I have the oppurtunity to do my student teaching over seas. I was thinking Greece or Turkey, or South Africa. That would be fun :)
